About  the  role
 

To manage Dale Carnegie Malaysia’s financial and administrative operations with accuracy and integrity, ensuring reliable financial reporting, regulatory compliance, operational readiness, and timely insights that support effective business decisions.

At Dale Carnegie Malaysia, we are looking for a Finance Executive who will take ownership of our financial operations and contribute insights that drive efficiency, transparency, and growth.

This is a full-time, on-site role where you will manage the full set of accounts, ensure accurate financial reporting, and collaborate closely with the leadership team. You’ll also play a vital role in supporting budgeting, cash flow management, SST compliance, administrative governance, and franchise reporting to DC&A.

Accounting & Financial Operations
•    Manage full-set accounting: AP, AR, GL, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
•    Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks and ensure timely updates.
•    Oversee payroll, claims, vendor payments, and petty cash.
•    Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and banks to ensure compliance.

 

Financial Reporting & Compliance
•    Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to our Franchisor (DC&A).
•    Generate weekly collection and sales reports for management.
•    Manage SST compliance, tax submissions, and statutory filings.
•    Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
•    Prepare management reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis.

 

Analysis & Continuous Improvement
•    Provide analytical insights to enhance profitability and cost efficiency.
•    Develop internal dashboards or tools to improve operational effectiveness.
•    Identify process improvements and support digitalization initiatives.

 

Corporate Administration & Compliance
•    Manage vendor registrations with clients and government bodies.
•    Oversee business licenses, renewals, and statutory registrations.
•    Handle government-related registrations and certifications (e.g., MoF and relevant authorities).
•    Ensure all corporate documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
•    Support operational readiness by ensuring administrative processes are efficient and well-maintained.

What  you'll  need

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience handling full-set accounts (SME experience preferred).
Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of Sales and Services Tax (SST) and Malaysian accounting standards.
Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
